How much does furnace maintenance cost?
Complete maintenance is $199 for a residential furnace and $399 per rooftop unit, HST included. If the technician finds something that needs repair, they’ll explain the repair and its cost first, and you decide whether to proceed.
What do I need to send before the visit?
Your filter size and how many filters you need. The size is printed on the edge of your current filter. You can add it to the request form or tell us when you call.
What happens if you find a problem during maintenance?
The technician explains what they found and what the repair involves, including its cost, before doing any repair work. You decide whether to proceed. Our promise applies to repairs: if we don’t fix it, you don’t pay for the repair. Read the service terms.

No. If your furnace has stopped working or isn’t heating, you need a repair visit, and calling is the fastest way to reach us. See furnace repair.

Yes. We provide furnace maintenance, diagnostics, repair and emergency service for both residential and commercial customers.

Certified Mechanical is a TSSA-registered contractor, and we have G2 gas licence holders on our team. We’re also WSIB covered and carry $2 million in insurance coverage.

- Get everyone out of the building right away. Don’t use light switches, phones or anything that could make a spark inside.
- Once you’re outside and at a safe distance, call us at 416-908-6993. We find and repair gas leaks.
- If you can’t reach us, call your gas utility’s emergency line (Enbridge Gas in the GTA) or 911.
- If a carbon monoxide alarm is sounding, leave the building and call 911.
- Don’t try to repair gas lines or gas appliances yourself.
